Moremi Game Reserve is one of the richest wildlife areas in Africa including abundant birdlife and a diversity of trees and plants. These habitats include river channels, swamps, seasonal floodplains, islands, lagoons, aquatic vegetation, beautiful tall riparian woodlands, grassland, savanna woodlands and sandveld.
The Okavango Delta, known as the Jewel of the Kalahari, is a treasure trove of spectacular landscapes, a mosaic of aquatic and dry land habitats where an abundance of wildlife can be seen. It is the largest inland delta in the world with permanent swamps in the north and floodplains in the south that start filling up from the end of July.
