The Augrabies Falls National Park is located in northwestern South Africa on the mighty Orange River which flows through this arid park and drops 56 m over the Augrabies Falls in spectacular fashion, winding its way down an 18 km gorge. The huge granite rocks that tower over the gorge are like beautiful moonscapes and strategic spots to catch a relaxing sunset.

The Park is 500 sq. kms in size and has a 56 km self drive route to view the terrain with its succulent vegetation and a few mammal and reptile species. There are several beautiful viewpoints over the Orange River along the self drive route where one can get out and explore the area.

The Dassie Trail is a pleasant 2 hour meander through some beautiful areas close to the Main Camp. The Klipspringer Trail is a 3 day Walking Trail with overnight facilities in huts.

Accommodation consists of chalets, cottages, bungalows and camp sites.
