Addo Elephant National Park is located northeast of Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape Province. This park has grown considerably since 1931 when it was proclaimed to protect the last remaining elephants of the Eastern Cape. It is 1,680 sq. kms in size and includes a marine section where whales, sharks and dolphins occur as well as the valley bushveld terrain where large game can be found.
There is a variety of accommodation in Addo Elephant National Park including luxury lodges, self catering chalets, guesthouses, forest cabins, safari tents, tented camps and campsites.
