Vilankulo is a popular beach resort and the gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago. It is situated 700 kms north of Maputo and has an airport and harbour. The surrounding beaches which stretch endlessly are known for their white sand, palm trees , golden sunsets and alluring waters.
Traditional dhow sailing to the islands of the archipelago is a thrilling experience unique to these tropical waters.
