The Kruger National Park covers an area of 20,000 sq.kms, stretching 350 kms from north to south and 60 to 90 kms from east to west. DAYS 1 – 4
MOTSWARI GAME LODGE, TIMBAVATI, GREATER KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Luxury Bungalow – Full Board
On arrival at OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg, clear customs and take a flight to Hoedspruit bordering Timbavati Private Game Reserve. On arrival at Hoedspruit Airport you will be met by a driver from Assured Tours who will display a Welcome Board with your name on it. You will be transferred to Motswari Game Lodge in Timbavati Private Game Reserve which shares unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park and is part of the area known as the Greater Kruger National Park. The abundant game moves freely between the National Park and Private Game Reserves.
You will enjoy the huge diversity of game, plant and birdlife either from a safari vehicle or on foot, and look out for the famous white lions of the Timbavati, the endangered African wild dogs, Big 5, hippo & hyena to name just a few. Enjoy an unforgettable wildlife experience in a magical environment. Thrilling game activities include early morning and late afternoon into evening game drives as well as bush walks where you can enter the space of wild animals and get up close and personal to nature.
Your accommodation is in a Luxury Bungalow with ensuite bathroom, complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits, air conditioning and electronic safe. The lodge has a swimming pool where you can relax between game drives.
Activities include 2 game drives per day in an open Landrover. At Motswari you will indulge in a most thrilling wildlife safari. Your ranger and tracker will follow the signs of the wild in open vehicles, sometimes driving offroad to track animals such as a leopard stalking prey in the early morning or a pride of lion resting under the shade of a tree.

DAY 4
OLIVERS LODGE, WHITE RIVER, SOUTH AFRICA
Exclusive Standard Room – Bed & Breakfast
Today you will be collected by Assured Tours and transferred to Olivers Lodge in White River, a road trip of about 2.5 hours. You will enjoy the quiet atmosphere and tropical landscape with spectacular views.
You are booked in an Exclusive Standard Room with facilities that include ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, heater, television, coffee and tea facilities, and minibar with snacks.
Lodge facilities include a swimming pool and a restaurant for which the lodge is well known.

DAYS 5 – 8
MACHANGULO BEACH LODGE, MOZAMBIQUE
Ocean View Room – Full Board
This morning you will be collected by a driver from E Coaches and transferred to the Maputo Marina in Mozambique, a journey of about 3 hours. From here you will have a 1 hour boat transfer to the lodge.
Machangulo Beach Lodge is situated south of Maputo in a truly unique location on a beautiful secluded peninsula and surrounded by 5 marine and nature reserves.

DAYS 8 – 12
VILANCULOS BEACH LODGE, VILANKULO, MOZAMBIQUE

Say goodbye to the beautiful Machangulo Peninsula today as you are transferred by boat back to the Maputo Marina and then to the Airport where you will take a flight to Vilankulo, 700 kms further north along the Mozambique coast.
On arrival at Vilankulo Airport you will be met by a driver from Vilanculos Beach Lodge and transferred to the lodge.
Vilanculos Beach Lodge is located in the small town of Vilankulo and is about 100 m from the beach with an elevation that provides a wonderful view over the beautiful expanse of ocean.
Accommodation is in a Luxury Bungalow with Breakfast included. Room facilities include ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, mosquito nets, tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar, safe and a private balcony.
Lodge facilities include a restaurant, bar and infinity pool with spectacular views.
Activities include scuba diving, snorkelling on the amazing 2 mile reef, traditional dhow and boat trips to the islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago, kayaking, paddle skiing, kite surfing horse riding and cultural village tours.
The Bazaruto Archipelago offers some of the worlds best snorkelling and diving. The islands are pristine in their natural beauty and diverse ecologies. The coral reefs are profuse with a diversity of tropical fish and turtles, and are amongst the most pristine in the Western Indian Ocean.
Dolphins are seen year round and whales are seasonal visitors to the Archipelago. The park is also home to the last viable population of Dugong on the East African coast. There is an abundance of bird species, including the crab plover and olive bee-eater that tunnels its nest into the sand dunes. Large flocks of migrant waders visit the fertile mud flats from September to April and the nomadic Greater Flamingo arrive around mid-October.
