A wonderfully diverse array of experiences in Southern Tanzania.
Travel by road from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park where you stay at Stanley’s Kopje Tented Camp for 3 nights, exploring the varied landscapes and wildlife of this large park.
A visit to the Udzungwa Mountains sees you hiking through the rain forest and mountain landscape, home to rare primates and endemic plants, feeling the spray of the 300 m Sanje waterfall.
Spend a night on a flower, vegetable and tobacco farm en route to Ruaha National Park.
Two nights in Ruaha National Park allows you time to experience the wildlife and wilderness areas, driving along the Great Ruaha River that attracts an abundance of game, especially in the dry season.
Do a bush walk in Ruaha, then fly to Selous National Park, largest wildlife conservation area in Africa, where you spend two nights. You will do game drives and a boat trip on the Rufiji River enjoying the variety of wildlife in the park in varied habitats such as the savanna plains, riverine areas and Miombo woodlands.
Your safari ends with a flight from Ruaha to Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar.
